Fifteen seconds before engine meltdown in the final at the Summer Nationals in Hampton, VA. Shown here crossing the starting line with me are Canadian Dominic Cournoyer in the 122 and Duff Daily in the 997. All three of us failed to finish. Duff went out with a broken steering about the same time I started to loose the engine, and Dominic broke on the third lap while leading. Chris Thompson from Hamburg, NY took the win in his PS-41.
