If you look closely at the picture you can just barely make out the reflection of a Crackerbox
right behind and to the outside of the Snow Goose. If Jack could get to the first turn first, the wall
of water thrown to the outside by the Skiff worked well to keep the faster Crackerbox class boats at bay. When racing on courses with short straightaways this gave the Snow Goose a good chance of winning when running heats combined with Crackerboxes.
